| Have not see this movie. Will never see this movie. Just thinking about the story makes my heart heavy. On the up side, I got the 50s lamp for $2 at the World's Longest Yard Sale 2 years ago from a lady who used to run a boat bar - why don't they make THAT into a movie? I'd watch it. |

DeleteMy friend from High School is in the Artist! I haven't seen it yet, but I want to. I saw Moneyball, I think, but maybe not... I dunno. Fun, fun post! I watch the Oscars to see the purdy clothes...that's about it.

ReplyDeleteDee - those mantle clocks must have been quite popular because I've seen a lot of them, they are gorgeous. I always say that's why I don't have one bit of guilt vintage shopping - I go to so few movies, (don't go to bars, get my haircut at Supercuts, use drug store cosmetics) spending money on old hats, jewelry and kitchen kitsch is a bargain compared to to a weekly movie outing!

I am obsessed with girlie glasses. I have about 10 of them and usually found them tucked into big shelves filled with glasses with Smurfs and superheroes and beer logos on them.
