Just when you thought it was safe to go back to your life.....

Dear Loved Ones,
Why do you think it is that as soon as you finished up something that has been occupying all your time and you think you might just have a minute to call your own somebody says those words that should come with the soundtrack of JAWS playing in the background...

FIN? I don't see any fin. Go ahead, girl, jump in!
I'm not saying they had a rocky relationship but...

The words:
Since you're not busy now...

I bet they took this photo just seconds before she broke that pretty pink broom over his head.

Well, Helen didn't have no stinkin' broom or she would have been wise to use it! it started with a simple request to pick someone up at the auto shop... Now the day has gotten away from me and the weekend is here...

By Playtime Snack Bar I mean Martini-time Drinkie Bar! And by outing, I mean laying in  hammock occasionally shouting the motto: Every Day is a Holiday!

I did manage to hit an estate sale and bought this gorgeous Hawaiian maxi-length dress for $1.
Will be back with all the answers Monday!

I've already started celebrating!

And remembering my Daddy this Father's Day
(FYI - did you know these uniforms were called 'pinks', Pink Saturday People?)

  3. Love the Hawaiian theme...and the umbrella drink. I think I need one of those myself. I had the boys today, and I was having an awful time with my allergies, so they wore me out more than usual. I need to fortify. :)

  8. That gorgeous Hawaiian dress for a buck? Ooo, I need a martini to digest that bit of information. A dirty martini, easily cleaned up with a Pink Broom floating beside me in the pool.

    1. Jane and Lance, it IS a bold claim but since Helen knows LOVE is the answer she feels as long as she answers in love... or loves her answer... it's got to be right!
