| Yes, I still have pumpkins on my steps. The darn things last so long that I am beginning to think they need to become a Christmas tradition - Chris-squash anybody? |
and while Helen contemplates two common holiday problems (December birthdays and how to feed everyone when everyone wants different feed!) she decided to share some Christmas cheer

| I think the blue one is supposed to be her and the pink one is me - because the pink one has the tiniest chink in her crown and I know my cousin's crown is flawless! |

My hubby doesn't watch too much football, but he just got a new phone...I will never get more than a grunt from him from this day forward! Yeah, my crown would be the flawless one...my sisters' crowns are all chippy and not in a good way...lol! =D
ReplyDeleteLOL on your sisters crowns! Hubby doesn't do the phone thing but football is is downfall.
DeleteI have to tell you I love that orange door - I have never seen one before - beautiful. sandie
ReplyDeleteThanks - our brick is brown our fence is brown, the trim is tan. We have always had a red door but when it came time to change I wanted a charge of color that wouldn't go with all that brown!
DeleteLove the street lamp! Too darn Cute!!!
ReplyDeleteStop by if you have the time today, it's the last day for our giveaway!
Enjoy the blessings of the season!
Leann
Thanks - it was white on white and I couldn't have that!
DeleteLovin' your door! I say spray paint those pumpkins gold and enjoy them:@)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that idea. MY mother was he queen of spray painting stuff silver or gold - weeds, sticks, egg cartons - why not pumpkins?
DeleteI love yours sweet angels. And we have lots of December birthdays, too! Hubby picked out his pressie this year though so that helps! Hope Santa delivers birthday gifts, too! heehee!
ReplyDeleteIt's an issue for a lot of people - trying to think about what is fair. Then will advise what is funny.
DeleteMy pumpkins and gourds are still hanging in there too. I think it's about time for them to take a vacation in the garden.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend! :)
Yep - some years they don't last til Halloween. I think these will go out back and see if they make a punkin patch.
DeleteI like your door. It covers all the holidays at one time. Most all the stores and everyone tend to rush Christmas more and more.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I need to put a bunny there and get it all the way to Easter!
DeleteWow! Your door! Does the orange change as it goes up or is that just my computer monitor? Either way, love it. Trying to get into the Christmas spirit here but it ain't working. I wish you much success!
ReplyDeleteOh my - that photo does make it look like it changes, but it's just a trick of shadows.
DeleteWell, I think that your true crown may have the Helen touch with the Annie heart! Can't wait to see it. ;0)
ReplyDeleteLOL - I am trying to imagine what that would look like - sparkly for sure!
DeleteCute post. I like inviting doors that beckon you to enter. I've liked you too. :)
ReplyDeleteWell I will have to LIKE you right back - your year end splash looks good!
Delete"Let the cute poochie inside"
ReplyDelete*hehee*
I really like your doorstep (Pumpkins, Christmas, Angels and all)
She is afraid of having her picture taken!
DeleteOh, I have totally been there! The only reason I don't have pumpkins still out on my porch is because I never even bought any for Halloween!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE you door... I know I've told you before, but it's da shizzle!
Thanks! I'm still loving it too!
DeleteSo sweet! I'll just bet Hubby Hartman has quite pulse after some of today's games...lol! Great post:)
ReplyDeleteI don't know. His old high school team lost the state championship.
DeleteI delegated my pumpkin to the side yard yesterday, hoping the squirrels will tear it apart. You might try Santa hats and smiley faces after you spray paint yours!
ReplyDeleteSnow ice cream!! Haven't had that since I was a kid. Will have to google the concoction ingredients!
Love your porch! I saw somebody spray paint their pumpkins red and green! Pretty clever I think!
