Hankie Pankie!

Or should I say Linky-Pinky?
No, not talking about joining a party on Pink Saturday.
Loved Ones, Helen recently checked in on the blog on an unfamiliar computer and found some jerks have dropped their own SEO Links all over my posts!!!!!!

No one sees them on any devices, phone, Kindle, laptops here in our home so I have no idea how this happened or what to do about it.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. In the meantime I plan to post a warning that no one should ever click a link on this blog unless it specifically for a link party I say I am joining and if you want to visit that link party, use the link that will be in the sidebar.

UGH. Some people can take the fun out of everything.
So no jokes today, just some fancy showing off of some things I've found lately.

Hankie Box - not sure what I will keep in it but it won't be whatever these jerks highlight and link to on my blog.

I never buy second hand shoesies but these were in such good shape so...

Hoping for a magical solution to this problem (unicorn trivet - so cute, huh?)

Have a great Weekend
I am joining Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound - use the link in my blog party list please.

  1. I liked all your goodies today. Not sure I understand the computer problem, but I do know a lot of computers are having some issues. My security comes a lot warning me a site is not secure. Kinda scared to comment anymore.

  2. How extremely annoying...if you ever see anything like that on my blog please let me know? Happy Weekend, and you're welcome for Salmon Chanted Evening (you will meet a straaaanger......). The Great Scot and I love trading puns and fish puns are dolphinately favourites; he shark can throw a pun but he can't carry a tuna.

    Okay, I'll stop (for) now.

    1. Those fish puns were off the scale! It's easy to flounder with those.

    1. Thanks! I am trying to decide what to wear those shoes with. So far no one else is reporting the phantom links so it may be THAT computer had adware or spyware infection.

  4. I have no idea what an SEO is. Do I want one? Should I be taking one out to dinner and schmoozing it so I can save it from the dark side? Who has time to put hankies in a pretty box? Thousands of people more organised than me obviously. Kid: "mum do you have a hanky?" Mum: "there's one in my bag - only used once." xoxo

  6. Are the SEO links in the comments or at the end of your posts or on the actual blog itself? If in the comments, the only way to combat that stuff is to delete them as they come in and you can install a Rel=nofollow code so google doesn't crawl those links. Oh, and set your comments to be sent directly to your email so you can nip them in the bud within minutes. If its on the actual blog itself like in the text of your blog or on your sidebar...I have no idea! Change your blogger password, make sure you don't have google adsense or any of that crap too. That's bizarre! I hope I dont have any of that on my blog too! good luck, darlin'!!

  7. They show up in the captions under the pictures! But good tip on changing my password. I've never seen anything like it and am hoping it's because that computer has a virus.

  8. The saddle oxfords (are they still called that?) bring back memories. I wanted a pair so bad and by the time I talked my mother into buying me a pair, it was discovered I had flat feet and she took me to an orthopedic doc who put me in a pair of....saddle oxfords! Complete with built up arches inside and really thick soles and heels. Of course, by this time the shoes were going out of fashion and here I was traipsing around in a pair of ugly, clunkers that stood out like a sore thumb. LOL! I can laugh about it now, but it wasn't funny back when I was 12 or so.

  9. That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard of - the link thing, not the shoes. That's why we support gun rights in Alabama. To keep the Link Pirates out of our Blogs!

  10. I don't even know what an SEO is, but it doesn't sound good! Some people are just SO STUPID! They do stupid things that are inconsiderate and evil...just makes me wanna punch something! Punch THEM!!! Yes, let's do that! Let's track them down and punch them over and over and over again! SEO THAT, sucka!!! I hope you're able to fix it soon. Brittany's suggestions sounded good. Change that password AND have all comments sent to your email so you can hop on 'em quickly. WordPress has a really good spam catcher (NOT the kind of Spam you always post about!!!), but I'm not familiar with what Blogger has available to nip those thugs in the noogies. Good luck! Also...LOVE the saddle shoes! Wore them all through high school and beyond. Can't find them anymore around here. :-(
