Don't You Wish Your Cousin Was Cool Like Mine?

Loved Ones, having a techno challenged day

Oh, sure, that's your cure for anything, a good shag...
carpet. Sorry, I dropped something in the rug and tried to decide if
I should try to find it or just stomp around and hope I mash it into the pile.

For example did you know ipods won't sync with Windows 8? I didn't under AFTER I'd downloaded a bunch of music on my new(ish) computer). SIGH. Don't get started on a glitch at Amazon that had a character doing something pretty unlikely.

Did you have her levitating a bowling ball? Because I don't' find THAT unlikely at all/

At least at times like these I can count on my fabulous Cousin Patje. Our friendship and love for one another has gone on glitch free for nearly...

Go on, dearies, tell us how many years. We won't share it with another soul.

Oh no. Suffice it to say we've always been in sync and to prove it look what she made for me!

It arrived this week and I couldn't wait to share it for PINK SATURDAY!

Yeah, having a great cousin is a lot like that. Only if we were around this much water all day we'd have to own our own adult diaper making machine!

Life ain't perfect but if it were we'd probably whine about that too so go out and enjoy your weekend!

  1. Oh I am cursing the windows 8!! We had to buy a new computer for the office, it came with windows 8 but NO programs are up to date with windows 8!! Curses!! Wasted about 800.00!! We bought more hard drive for the windows 7 instead! I hate technology!

    1. I KNOW! Windows 8 is not great. Been thinking it was me, no knowing how to do things I'd been doing for years! Nope, it's not me, it's THEM.

  4. Yikes about the iPod and computer. I haven't heard a lot of good about Windows 8 from anyone. But that's the first time I've heard that one!

Fun images as always -- a delightful spot to stop this morning!

    1. I kept thinking it was me. Then I went on line and typed the whole question - how do I get my iPod to sync with Windows 8 and WOW!

  6. I know nothing of tech stuff, I hate it. It sounds like I need to keep this (Windows 7) computer going for a very long time. Been having problems with my modem lately. I've called and got the password changed, but I still have to unplug and replug the modem at least once a day. I think they should send me a new one.

Sounds like you have a fun cousin, how sweet of her to make that cute pillow. Enjoy your weekend!

  8. Ahh...this is why I'm an "all Apple all the time" kind of girl. My hubby doesn't seem to have a problem with Windows 8 but my daughter (who with a young family couldn't afford to replace her Mac with another one) is cursing Windows 8 with every breath.
You do have a wonderful cousin who knows you well and that's the real treasure! I love visiting your blog - you always make me laugh! Shag carpet in the kitchen? Really? Must have smelled really good after a month - not!
    Have a lovely weekend,
    Robin

  9. Don't EVEN get me started!!!!!! Technology and I don't get along very well AT ALL!!!! I still have a flip phone that is ancient (about 8 years old, I think) and hate it every time my husband slips in unsanctioned some "update" on my computer. I don't own an iPad or iPod or whatever it is you kids are calling it these days...because I'm an old geezer who just wants her rotary phone back!!!!!! :-)

Good luck with getting all of that straightened out!

    1. Thanks. I LOVE technology and keep wasting money on something I think will be THE thing that can do everything I want. So far I am poorer but no wiser~

  10. Seriously? Windows 8 won't sync with iPods? That's going to tick a lot of people off!

    1. Yep - some people can get it to work sometimes, from what I'm reading online but... My son thinks I'm a goof to care because he carries his whole life on his phone and tablet, thinks ipods and laptops are pointless anyway!
