Saturday!

Loved Ones, I do not want to alarm you but where Helen lives a giant glowing ball of fire has been spotted in the sky!

That's almost as shocking as this crazy new trend of married couples pushing twin beds together!

Oh wait, I'm being told that's something people have been talking about all this bleak winter long. Apparently it's called 'the sun'.

Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are!
Honestly, it's been so long, I'm not sure how to react.

Hope it's shinning where you are and you get some time to go out and enjoy it.

I may go outside and sit on the deck but I AIN'T sitting in one of those webbed chairs. I remember the waffle prints those left on my youthful tush - it would be like a Play-Doh Fun Factory if I plunked my squishy backside down on one now!!

  1. I love your new blog header! Please send that warm yellow blob of sun our way!! It's still cold/gray in MI. My teen has been most annoyed with our less-than-tropical spring break.

    1. I didn't know I missed sunshine so much but having a sunny day is like hearing music after a long silence.

  4. The sun is out here too! I am going to go outside and probably get a shocking horrible sunburn. However, I will NOT push my beds together. That is just nasty. Someone go back in time and bring me some of that flowery patio furniture STAT.

    1. LOL - I never understood that twin bed thing as a kid. I had twin beds, they were for kids, why did the moms and dads have them?

    1. It may all just be a hallucination brought on my sunlight deprivation.

  6. Alas. Shining yesterday; not so much today. But even seeing one shiny day is a beacon of hope! Maybe tomorrow!

  9. You cannot be serious? I looooove those chairs. We would keep putting new webbing in them. Those things were tough, portable, light, and waterproof. Of course their rattling in the trunk of the station wagon would drive us all insane on the way to the cook out, but hey, the family that goes nuts together...

    1. LOL - how I remember my Dad re-webbing our chairs - always GREEN. Ugh. He even made a hammock out of that webbing. Which was brilliant because it was tough and could stay out in the weather.

  12. You are too funny! I remember the old web lawn chairs, in fact we may still have one or two somewhere around here. Why? I'm not sure, because we don't use them anymore. They were a pain in the tush in more ways than one.

    1. Esp when the webbing got loose and sagged! But I guess they did last forever!
