Humble Helen?

Helen has a confession to make.

Quick, child, cover your ears!

The pace of life and work have picked up - and they've carried Helen right along with them.

I am SO working. I might have a 'day' job as a mattress tester, you don't know.

I only get to visit other blogs on weekends and feel guilty for not being able to comment in a more timely manner.

Timely? That's code for sarcastic, isn't it Mommy?

But I am here for Pink Saturday! Some things I found around this week:

I love Esther Williams

Plant I got for Mother's Day - sooo pretty.

New Cover and new Title for The Last Belles - PINK just felt right!

Have a lovely weekend!

  2. You did find some lovely pink! I understand the visiting thing. If they show up in my follow list like yours does, I get there (or email subscribe or bloglovin, that sort of thing.) But if they don't, I fall so short!

But you are rocking pink Saturday and it all makes me smile. Happy weekend!

  4. Hi Helen - I hear ya in the "busy at work" mode and "guilt for not getting into Blogland more often" thingy. Really have missed it these past couple of months. Seeking some re-adjustments during a summer sabbatical. Love all your vintage images - clever gal . . .
    Joy!

    1. I have NO idea - the tag with it just gave instructions. It looks like a pink poinsettia! Thanks for the kind words on the cover. It makes me want to eat candy!

    2. Pink ribbon candy - from Hammonds Candy Co. in Denver...fabulous! And, I thought the flower was a poinsettia on first glance, too. I WILL find out what it is - Happy Memorial Weekend, Helen - play it safe!

  8. You're forgiven. :) It's taken me months to get back into the swing of posting more than twice a week. I think we all go through periods of being extremely busy, and sometimes the blogosphere gets put on the back burner.

  9. I loved Esther and wished I could swim as well as she could. Boy, I'm telling my age saying that! :)
Nice touches of pink and don't worry about commenting. This is a busy time of year and it happens to all of us. Enjoy your long weekend!

  10. Happy Pink Saturday 5th Birthday. Thank you for being here to make it even more special. I appreciate you.♥

Talk about being timely with comments. Here I am a week late. Can we go with "better late than never"?

I loved seeing the cover of Esther Williams. My parents used to take me to Cypress Gardens when I was a little girl, and there was an Esther Williams swimming pool.
